Inspired by this cookbook I had purchased for S's birthday gift, decided to make matching scrappy placemats to go with the general theme. Used the concept from Ellison Lanes' 12 gifts of Christmas blog hop. Started out well enough but ran out of time, and ended up with only 1 of 6 mats planned. So much for personal effectiveness.
Don't want to make promises I can't keep so S will just have to wait for those times when the boys are out and she can sit down with a nice bowl of comfort food, with her very own unique placemat.

It's beautiful! So sayang to use it...was planning to try out recipes during the school hols, but Baby just came down with chicken pox. :-(
